Officially invited by the university, Karim Najafi Barzegar visited the library and unveiled the collection of manuscripts of the library, including the oldest copy of Nahj-ul-Balaqa.
The Iranian official was accompanied by Ali Mohammad Naghavi, dean of the Religious Studies Department of the university. They had a meeting with head of the Islamic library discussing joint publication of the library's collection of manuscripts.
Najafi announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to sign an agreement to cooperate in publication of the works.
